On January 25th 2009, “Life in Glory” ACC marked the international remembrance Holocaust day. The service started with praise to the Lord, after which the leader of the intercessory ministry – Valentina Nacheva and apostle Ivo Koychev ministered with the Word.

Valentina Nacheva shared some historic facts about the Holocaust. She explored the nature of anti-Semitism, which started even from the beginning of human history and led to the killing of six million people in front of the eyes of “Christian Europe”. Anti-Semitism involves three major periods. The first is the Heathen period, encmpassing the Biblical tmes. The second is the Christian period, during the middle ages and until the middle of the 20th century and the third is the Muslim period, even right now, in our present times. Anti-Semitism came because of the covenant the Hebrews had with the living God.

As Christians we must know that the Lord has not forgotten His people. The church must have an understanding about God’s plan for Israel and support the Hebrew nation. In the present, the Church must be a voice, which is to remind what has happened to Israel, so it does not happen again. We must remember what has happened, so it does not happen again.

Apostle Ivo Koychev continued in the same direction, saying that "during World War II, the gypsies had also been contaminated in ghettos and destroyed. In many case Hebrews helped them and because of that, the gypsy ethnicity is in debt to Israel.

The Church must pray for Israel to know Jesus, that He is the Christ - the son of David. We must be Israel’s allies in everything - in the sufferings as well as in the successes. The Church is the spiritual Israel, the promised seed of Abraham. In the present the Church must identify with israel and be the intercessor before God, on Israel's behalf.

That's why today we have gathered to remind ourselves of these historic events that happened with Israel, to remind ourselves and then pray for te blessing of Israel.

Apostle Ivo closed his speech with a prayer for Israel. After that, the service continued with intercessory prayer, in which different people took part – leaders from “Life in Glory” ACC and pastors from the different regions – pastor Veljo Velev from Dalboki, pastor Asen Yankov from Elenino and pastor Koljo Veselinov from Tvarditsa. The service ended with prayers and blessings towards the nation of Israel.
