SOLOMON PROJECT
Hello friends! In January 1996 we started our ministry. We started with 12-15 people, gathering in my home. I taught 3 times a week and we prayed together for more than 3 months. At that time my father was not a believer, and I had a problem with him, because people were coming in my house. I was forced to look for a hall, but was refused everywhere, because all the churches in Bulgaria, which are not Orthodox, are regarded as a sect. A little later, the first miracle happened in our ministry - a person, who hated the Protestant churches and persecuted them, handed me the keys to a hall, in which to conduct services. Its size was 140 square meters, with a capacity to hold between 100-130 people. In the beginning this suited us completely. But soon, many people started coming - not only Roma, but also Bulgarians, Turks, Russians and Ukrainians. My wife and I began to pray for a new building, which to be our own property and a unifying center for all ethnic groups to demonstrate God's kingdom on earth. Our dream to build a House for the Lord was a priority in our call. We identified the location for this building and continued to pray. During this period of intense prayer, which lasted about 3 and a half years, we held several conferences in the city. These conferences led to the discontent of the orthodox oriented nationalist parties, who saw us as a sect, threatening society and the nation. The Stara Zagora Municipality, under the influence of these political parties firmly refused us to hold conferences in larger halls, threatening us that this will cause riots and civil disobedience against us. Later they drove us out of the hall in which we already held our services. We were forced to hold meetings in a pub, and believe me, it was glorious. Municipal officials, prompted by these nationalist parties and public interests, kept chasing us continually, and forbade us to hold services in the pub. Having no hall and because of the outside pressure, our ministry could not be established to develop normally. Yet we continued to lead services in the pub. Let me tell you how a normal service would proceed. The pub had two rooms, one larger, where we were, and one smaller, in which people gathered to drink. During the service, from time to time, as I preached, drunk people entered, mocked us and tried to chase us. But we continued with the services. At that time we were totally persecuted by the municipality, nationalist parties and some Orthodox people. Yet God's favor was entirely on our ministry. In 2000, we experienced a financial breakthrough, and bought the land which we had prayed for, my wife and I, with a group of intercessors. In 2001 we made a project for the construction of a building, floor area of 1056 sq.m. Later we were worried that we will not be able to accomplish it, because it required a huge financial resource. For us, starting this construction was entirely an act of faith. The standard way to start a building requires having 90% of the financial coverage, while we had only 10%. During the construction we witnessed various other financial crises. The US dollar collapsed and we were shaken, because the financial resources we had, were in dollars and they almost melted in this crisis. But the Lord fixed the situation, so our sponsors compensated the amount, without us having to even mention about this. At that time the war in Iraq began. But the Lord told us that this will not affect the construction. The iInflation and the prices in the nation began to grow dramatically, but the Lord so did, that our sponsors compensated us, and we felt blessed. Once, while in distress, due to lack of finances for the construction, I was visited by God and He told me: "What thing have you asked of Me, that I have not given to you?" These words gave me strength and inspired me to go forward by faith. Within 5 years, from 2003 to 2008, we completed the construction of the building and fully equipped it. On 17.09.2008, the construction committee with the Municipality gave us Act 16, with the right to legitimately use the building. They can no longer persecute us - we have our own possession. The dream has become a REALITY. I would like to thank all those, who entered in a financial relationship with us, and believed that what we did, was the work of the Lord.
