Intercession, which gives birth to revival
During the month of December 2007, in a time of spiritual trouble, a prophetic word came to us by the Lord, which filled our spirits and revived our hearts with faith, that the Lord has hope for our generation:
A revival is coming! I am close to You!
Prepare the way through prayer! Ignite Prayer fires!
(Prophetic word)
We were very shaken by this word. It became the basis to begin intercessory meetings in our church to which all connected with us ministries joined. During these meetings we prayed for revival of the Roma ethnic group, the city and our nation. The Spirit of God moved powerfully in worship, intercession and prophetic declaration.
Almost a year after, the Lord gave us the following word:
Thus says the Lord:
I want to put My intercession on a new level of conceiving and birthing of My purposes. The intercession in many regions has failed, because there hasn’t been an altar. But today, says the Lord, the Day is coming when I will build an altar in the heart of every intercessor and I will reveal My purpose. This will be an altar, which I will build in your hearts, your homes and your churches.
(Prophetic word)
We believe in the prophetic word for revival in our nation and that it will start from the igniting of prayer fires in different places in the country. God will not do anything except what the saints will speak in prayer and intercession. Intercession is the spiritual fuel that moves the Church to establish the kingdom of God on the Earth.
Jesus gave us an example how to pray:
You therefore pray like this: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name! Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done as in heaven, so on earth
(Matthew 6:9-10)
We believe that God works in times and seasons on the earth and that He is sending the prophetic word to prepare the Church in Bulgaria for what He wants to do (Amos 3:7). The Word of God releases a new season of prayer and intercession, in which the Church must enter, so it can give birth to God’s purpose for Bulgaria. The Lord needs mediator churches, loving their nation and which are radical for God's kingdom. They will pave the way for the coming revival of God.
Here we want to make a clarification for the revival in which we believe. We do not believe for a revival, which will bring some strange and inexplicable spiritual manifestation. Nor do we believe for a revival for the sake of revival itself. But we believe for a revival that will bring the tangible presence of God in our lives and will build a new fire in our hearts, changing our church mentality, so we can start moving creatively in God's purposes towards the society in which we are called.
