Reformation leading to Inheritance
Apostle Ivo Koychev

Praise the Lord for all people that have sacrificed from their time and finances, so they can attend in this unique event! We must really redeem our time for the Lord, so we can see a true and meaningful change in this nation. When we are talking about change, I connect that with the Apostolic Reformation!

The Reformation reveals God’s integrity and essence, and brings the Lord’s order, so we can fulfill God’s purposes and intentions in the generation in which we are living. The important thing is not only whether we believe in Jesus, but what are we doing for Him? Let us cast away the soulish and charismatic Christianity, that is so selfish and let us focus in the Lord’s reformation, so we can really change the Earth. Redemption will come when we discover God’s creativity in us and start acting accordingly. That’s why we have gathered in this place, because we see that the Lord wants to do something creative in this nation.

Today, when our nation is filled with so many nationalist, chauvinistic, and racist intentions, isn’t it wonderful that here we have gathered people from different ethnicities – Gypsies, Bulgarians, Turkish people, Ukrainians, and others. Of course, we know that Christianity is not an ethnic thing, but is the Divine essence in us, that we are receiving in our new birth. On the other hand, the Reformation we are focusing in as a church and ministry, is to see change in the Gypsy ethnicity. For a long time gypsies have been considered a tail – a second class society, but we know that the Lord has a destiny and a vision for the gypsy ethnicity. This, of course, does not mean we should be arrogant, but that we should find out of destiny in God and start moving towards our inheritance.

„For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.” (Jeremiah 29:10)

This scripture says that the Lord wants to restore us completely, according to His good word, that He has spoken over our life. Everyone of us has received a word from the Lord in his life and the Lord wants to fulfill that word, restoring us in our inheritance – not only as individuals, but as an ethnicity as well. We really expect God to restore whole ethnicities, nations and continents. The Reformation we are talking about has exactly this as its purpose. Let us see what the next verse says:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.(Jeremiah 29:11)

Maybe you are going through a test or trail, but the Lord wants to tell you: „I am speaking a word of restoration, so I can give you hope and a future.

Maybe you have lost things in your life, but the Lord is challenging you: „Return back to My grace, My salvation, My plans, purposes and intentions.

   Joshua 1:2-3 says:

Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

Let us look in detail at these verses:

  • ...Moses my servant is dead – the old things are passing away and the new is coming. Let us be adequate in it!

  • ...thouandallthispeople – The Reformation is an individual, but also a global thing. It will not emphasize only on the leadership, but also on the whole nation.

  • ...asIsaidtoMoses – we have also had fathers, who have spoken the word of the Lord for our generation, but now it is our turn to raise ourseoves in faith and when we do it, something will happen in the heavenlies and the darkness will begin to step back.

  • ...arise, go over this Jordan – everyone must cross over the hard of access places.

There are six main factors so we can successfully enter into our inheritance. They must become a fact in the life of everyone of us individually and in the Church as a whole.

  1. To build up true covenant relationships. We are not speaking about just some relationships for the sake of the relationships themselves, but about relationships, connected in covenant, through which we can build God’s Kingdom.

  1. To destroy all church, denominational, ethnic and all other kind of barriers. We are not denominationally belonging, but Divinely belonging. Let is cast down the strongholds and the barriers between us!
  1. To give birth to the vision for the inheritance for the gypsies in Bulgaria. If we do the first two things mentioned above, this will help us to give birth to the vision for the inheritance. But the “birthing” itself will happen when the leaders gather together and start praying. Acts 13:1-2 clearly shows that when the leaders gathered together and ministered to the Lord in fasting and prayer, the Lord moved creatively.

  1. To cause a reformation in the gypsy society. The vision birthed will cause reformation in the gypsy church and in the society as a whole. When the Church is carrying God’s nature – Christ – the society will be reached.
  1. To build in unity, revealing God’s creative power in our Church diversity. We are all different, but we can work in unity. Unity does not mean uniformity. It means to connect in our diversity for the fulfillment of God’s purpose.

  1. Our focus in the present unity must be the Harvest. There are 5 key aspects under this point:

? To have Harvest mentality.

? Every ministry to recognize its Harvest field.

? Our life must be a Harvest seed in the lives of others.

? To build the storehouse for the Harvest.

? To connect with other Harvesters.

Psalm 119:59 says: „I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.” Do we think of our ways? If we do, the result will be that we will turn our feet. The Lord wants to restore us in the right path of His purposes and intentions, so He can give us a hope and a future. The Divine Reformation is the change, leading us into our inheritance as individuals, as an ethnicity and a whole Body of believers.
